The Beginning is a maternity photography session focused on capturing this fleeting chapter naturally.
Perhaps we'll wander beside the Murray River at golden hour, spend a quiet afternoon in your family home or visit somewhere that holds special meaning to you.
Your partner and children are welcome to join, allowing us to capture the people who are sharing this chapter with you.
02. THE ARRIVAL — $550
Newborn Lifestyle Photography
The smallest details. The biggest love.
The first days with a newborn are a beautiful blur of sleepy cuddles, tiny fingers, milk-drunk smiles and finding your feet as a growing family.
The Arrival is a relaxed, documentary-inspired newborn photography session, designed to capture your family as you are.
No elaborate props. No pressure for a perfectly sleeping baby. No expectation that your home needs to look like something from a magazine.
Just the little moments that make these early days yours.
03. THE FIRST CHAPTER — $990
Maternity + Newborn Photography
Two milestones. One beautiful story.
From the first photographs of your growing belly to the moment your baby is finally in your arms, The First Chapter brings both experiences together.
This collection includes a maternity session and a newborn lifestyle session, allowing us to document the beautiful transition from bump to baby.
The waiting, the wonder, the arrival and everything in between.
What Are You Really Investing In?
Photography is more than the time spent in front of the camera.
It's the planning, the experience, the creative eye, the careful editing and the ability to recognise moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
My background in fine art and documentary photography influences the way I approach each session.
I'm drawn to honest connections, natural light and the ordinary details that become extraordinary with time.

When Should You Book Your Maternity Photoshoot?
Maternity photographs are commonly taken between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy.
By this stage, your belly is usually beautifully visible, while you may still feel comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the experience.
However, every pregnancy is different, and there's no single perfect time.
I recommend reaching out during your second trimester so we have plenty of time to plan your session.
Where Can We Take Our Photographs?
Some of the most meaningful photographs happen in places that already belong to your story.
It might be the family home where you're preparing the nursery, a favourite spot along the Murray River, a quiet country property or somewhere you've always loved visiting together.
I'm based in Mildura, Victoria, and I'm happy to travel beyond the Sunraysia region.
Additional travel expenses may apply for locations outside Mildura and will be discussed before booking.
What Should I Wear?
The short answer? Something that feels like you.
You don't need an elaborate maternity gown, a wardrobe of new clothes or anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
A simple dress, an oversized shirt, your favourite jeans or something with soft movement can photograph beautifully.
I'm always happy to help with clothing suggestions, colours and styling before your session.
And remember, you don't need to look a certain way to deserve beautiful photographs of yourself.
What If I'm Awkward in Front of the Camera?
Most people are, at least in the beginning!
You don't need to know how to pose or spend the entire session looking directly at the camera.
My approach is relaxed and gently guided, allowing time for conversation, movement and natural interactions.
Sometimes the most meaningful photograph happens when you're not thinking about the camera at all.
Is Maternity Photography Worth It?
I believe photographs become more valuable as the years pass.
One day, your child might look at these images and see what life looked like before they arrived.
They might recognise the house you lived in, the people who were waiting to meet them or the way you held your growing belly.
And perhaps you'll look back and remember a version of yourself that existed for only a little while.
